No. IR and Total Solar Energy Rejected measure different things. The broader service figures are up to 97% IR and up to 72% TSER, depending on film; use the individual film rating when choosing a series.
Can I add UV and IR percentages to compare performance?
No. They concern different parts of the light spectrum and are not additive. All listed films block 99% UV; compare IR rejection, appearance and visible light transmission separately.
What information makes two tint quotes comparable?
Ask for the film series, covered windows, relevant performance specifications and warranty. A price for a different film or different glass coverage is not a like-for-like comparison.
Is there a warranty?
