Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can save preferences on your device. This page explains how these technologies relate to the T1Detailing website.
Your Cookie Choices
On your first visit, the compact notice offers Accept All, Reject, and Preferences. Website Analytics, AI Chat and the embedded Google Map stay off until you allow them. Customer reviews connect automatically regardless of cookie choices. You can grant separate permissions and reopen Cookie Preferences from the Accessibility & Privacy menu at the lower left, the footer, or a blocked-feature placeholder at any time.
Once permitted, AI Chat loads site-wide and the Contact map waits until you approach its section. The review SDK and review sections load automatically as you approach a review section, without requiring permission. Connections may transmit technical information and involve provider cookies even without interaction. Turning off a previously allowed feature refreshes the page to unload it; this cannot undo prior transmissions.
You can browse services, submit an estimate request through the hosted form, call the shop, or use external directions links without permitting analytics, chat or the embedded map. Reviews are not controlled by these choices. The form service and its anti-spam tools connect when the form loads to provide the requested inquiry functionality and may use security or session technologies; optional analytics permission is separate. Opening external links connects you to the linked provider independently of these settings.
Saved Accessibility Preferences
The local-storage key t1_accessibility_v1 stores preferences requested by choosing Accessibility in the Accessibility & Privacy menu. It remains until cleared in your browser; Reset Preferences returns the settings to their defaults. These settings support usability rather than advertising and contain no estimate details. When browser storage is blocked, accessibility settings still apply during the current visit.
Saved Cookie Preferences
Your choices are saved for up to 180 days using the t1_consent_v4 first-party cookie and a local-storage key scoped to the website’s base path. Local-storage records include an expiry timestamp. Secure embedded previews use a partitioned cookie when the browser supports it. These records contain permissions for analytics, chat and Maps and no estimate details. Existing version-4 choices remain valid; an older review preference is ignored because reviews now connect automatically. Permission for other features does not grant chat permission.
If cookie and local storage are blocked, choices still apply during the current visit; you may see the notice again after reloading. Rejecting optional features still allows the website to remember that rejection. Requested accessibility preferences remain separate.
Third-Party Features
Website Analytics: When you allow analytics, Google Tag Manager delivers Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and website use. Google may set _ga and _ga_07NGY0W58Y cookies, typically for up to two years subject to Google’s configuration and browser limits. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and personalization remain denied. Our application-authored analytics events do not include estimate fields. The Google Tag Manager container and any third-party form tracking should also be reviewed to prevent collecting contact or vehicle details. Turning analytics off stops future loading; previously created Google cookies can be removed through your browser’s site-data controls.
Crazy Egg: The supplied Crazy Egg script loads only after Website Analytics permission, alongside Google’s analytics integration. Depending on provider settings, Crazy Egg may use cookies or similar technologies for heatmaps, page-interaction analysis and session recordings. Cookie lifetimes and recording behavior depend on the provider’s configuration. Sensitive-field exclusions and recording settings should be checked in the Crazy Egg dashboard. Withdrawing analytics permission reloads the page and prevents future script loading without permission; previously collected data and cookies are not deleted. See https://www.crazyegg.com/privacy.
AI Chat: When you allow chat, the hosted assistant loads site-wide. The provider may use cookies with names beginning _webchat_ and similar session technologies, and receives technical information and any messages or contact details you send. Session duration and retention depend on its configuration and browser limits. Turning chat off refreshes the page to unload it; this does not delete past messages or provider cookies. Use browser site-data controls to clear stored cookies and contact the shop about previously submitted information.
Reviews: The hosted review SDK and review sections connect automatically as you approach a review section, regardless of cookie acceptance. This includes the built-in review action. The provider receives technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies. The widget provider and any review platform you visit have their own privacy practices. Rejecting optional features does not block reviews.
Google Maps: When you allow Maps, the Contact page’s map loads as you approach its section. Google may receive technical information and use cookies when the map loads. External directions links open Google Maps separately.
Other Page Resources
Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager are optional and load only after analytics permission. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and personalization remain denied. We do not send estimate details to analytics. Hosting, security, photography and image-delivery providers receive the requests needed to serve the website. Web fonts are served by our website hosting. Third-party providers may have their own tracking practices, and websites you open from links have their own policies.
Browser Settings
Use Cookie Preferences to change permissions for future optional embed loading. Use your browser’s privacy and site-data controls to restrict cookies or clear cookies and local storage. Browser restrictions may affect widget functionality. Clearing the website’s consent records brings back the first-visit notice and leaves analytics, chat and Maps off until permitted again; reviews still connect automatically. Disabling an embed or clearing site data cannot erase information already held by its provider; contact the provider about information previously submitted.
Browser settings apply to the browser and device where you change them, not automatically to other browsers or devices. These controls do not represent a legal compliance certification or override any separate rights or permissions that may apply.
